outstanding cookbookReviewed by Richard Morrow, 2009-12-24
This is what must be one of the best cookbooks ever written. It is well organized, the recipes are easy to follow and each recipe has a short note saying where it's from- relative or restaurant. This the best cookbook I have ever used and that includes Julia Child. I cannot say enough good things about this book. I use it more than any other cookbook I have.
Unexpected SurpriseReviewed by Anthony Ingrisano, 2009-10-08
I was more than pleasantly surprised with the contents of Michele
Scicolone's 1000 Italian Recipes. I have hundreds of cookbooks and
was chastising myself for purchasing yet another, but I couldn't
resist.
The recipes in this book are really authentic and every recipe I
have tried so far has turned out well. I heartily recommend this
book to all serious cooks. Yeah, I know, "another" cookbook! LOL
You'll be pleasantly surprised.

Solid and creativeReviewed by H. Lindley, 2009-06-13
I have been cooking for over 45 years, have a collection of over 100 cookbooks in 3 languages, and find myself coming back to this one. Not flashy, no pictures, but solid and very dependable. This book has encouraged me to try wonderful combinations I never would have tried on my own. The key to making every recipe a hit is to try it her way exactly (at least once), use the best quality ingredients, share with friends if you can.
Great add-on for your cookbook collectionReviewed by Pouterson, 2008-08-23
